About this notice\n\nPTR Immersive Training Library is a virtual reality app for Meta Quest headsets operated by People Tech Revolution Pty Ltd, ABN 66 646 534 858. It is a collection of workplace learning experiences played on the headset. This notice explains what information the app handles, where it is kept and how to ask us to delete it.\n\nThis notice is a product supplement to the [People Tech Revolution Privacy Policy](/privacy). That policy applies to PTR Immersive Training Library except where this notice says something different. Where the two conflict, this notice controls for PTR Immersive Training Library.\n\n## 2. Summary\n\n| Topic | PTR Immersive Training Library |\n|---|---|\n| Account or sign-in | None. The app has no sign-in. |\n| Information sent to us | None, unless your organisation pairs the headset (section 5). |\n| Stored on your headset | A few app settings and, if your organisation paired the headset, the pairing details. |\n| Microphone | Used only in the Lift VR experience, to play your own spoken responses back to you. Not saved and not uploaded. |\n| Camera | Not used. |\n| Hand, eye, face and body tracking | Not used. Headset and controller movement is used in real time to run the experiences. |\n| Advertising | None. |\n| Analytics or crash reporting service | None. |\n\n## 3. Account and Meta platform features\n\nThe app has no account and no sign-in. It does not ask for your name, email address, Meta username or Meta account identifier, and it does not use Meta platform features that read your Meta profile or friends.\n\nWhen the app starts, it asks the Meta platform on your headset to confirm that the app was obtained from the Meta Horizon Store. Meta answers that check on the headset. The app does not send the result, or any Meta account information, to us.\n\n## 4. Information handled on your headset\n\n### Microphone in Lift VR\n\nThe Lift VR experience asks you, as a leader, to respond in your own voice. While you respond, the app records the microphone into the headset's memory together with your head and controller movement, and then plays your response back to you. The recording is not saved to a file and is not sent to us or anyone else. It is discarded when you record again, leave the experience or close the app.\n\nThe app uses the microphone only if microphone access is allowed for the app on your headset. No other experience in this version uses the microphone.\n\n### Movement and attention\n\nThe app uses the position of your headset and controllers in real time so that you can look around, point and select options. In Everyday Inclusion, the review at the end of the manager scene shows how much you looked at each character. That summary is worked out on the headset, is shown only to you and is not stored or sent.\n\n### Settings\n\nThe app keeps a few settings in its own storage on your headset, such as whether hints have been shown. This information stays on your headset. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes it.\n\n## 5. Organisation pairing\n\nOrganisations that buy PTR training for their staff can pair a headset with their PTR organisation account. Pairing is optional and is never needed to play the experiences in this app.\n\nTo pair, someone at the organisation enters a 6-digit pairing code from our client portal on the headset. The app then sends the pairing code, the headset model name reported by the device and a random identifier created for this installation of the app to our client portal. The random identifier is not a hardware identifier.\n\nIf the code is accepted, the portal returns a device credential and the name and identifiers of the organisation, its seat and the paired device. The app stores these on the headset. The device credential is encrypted with a key that is held in the headset's secure key storage and cannot be exported. The portal keeps a record of the pairing so that the organisation's administrator can revoke it.\n\nIn this version, no experience uses the pairing to send any further information to us. The \"Forget this headset\" button deletes the pairing details from the headset.\n\nWhere an organisation provides the app to you, that organisation may also hold information about your training under its own arrangements. See \"Products and customer organisations\" in the [People Tech Revolution Privacy Policy](/privacy).\n\n## 6. Network use\n\nThe app makes these network requests:\n\n- **News:** the news shown on the library home screen is built into the app. This version does not request news over the network.\n- **Organisation pairing:** only when a pairing code is entered, as described in section 5.\n- **Meta platform:** the Store check described in section 3, which is handled by the Meta platform.\n\nAs with any internet request, the provider that answers it receives your device's IP address and basic request details in order to answer the request.\n\nThe experiences themselves are installed with the app and do not download content.\n\n## 7. Permissions\n\n- **Internet and network state:** used for the requests in section 6 and to tell whether the headset is online.\n- **Microphone and audio settings:** used only in Lift VR, as described in section 4.\n- **Hand, eye, face and body tracking:** not used. The app does not request these permissions.\n\n## 8. Analytics, crash reporting and advertising\n\nThe app contains no advertising. We do not use an analytics, crash reporting or performance reporting service in the app.\n\n## 9. Where information is stored\n\n| Information | Where it is kept |\n|---|---|\n| Lift VR voice and movement recordings | In the headset's memory only, while you use Lift VR |\n| App settings | On your headset only |\n| Pairing details and device credential | On your headset, encrypted as described in section 5 |\n| Pairing record | Our client portal |\n\nThe categories of provider we use and where they may process information are listed in [Subprocessors and Data Locations](/subprocessors). That register describes provider categories rather than naming individual companies.\n\n## 10. How we use information\n\nWe use this information to run the experiences, pair headsets for organisations that ask us to, and keep the service secure.\n\nWe do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.\n\n## 11. Meta Quest and the Meta Horizon Store\n\nThe app is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store and runs on Meta Quest headsets. Meta may collect information about your device, your account and your use of the store and headset under its own privacy policy. This notice does not cover information collected by Meta.\n\n## 12. Retention and deletion\n\n- **Lift VR recordings:** never saved. They are discarded when you record again, leave Lift VR or close the app.\n- **Settings and pairing details on the headset:** kept until you use \"Forget this headset\" (pairing details), uninstall the app or clear its data.\n- **Pairing records in our client portal:** your organisation's administrator can revoke a pairing. You or your organisation can also ask us to delete a pairing record.\n\nTo ask for access to, or deletion of, information about a pairing or any other information we hold, email privacy@peopletechrevolution.com. Deletion is free. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person or organisation concerned.\n\n## 13. Age and audience\n\nPTR Immersive Training Library is workplace training. Its experiences show situations involving bias and discrimination at work. The app is published in the Meta Horizon Store for teens and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.\n\n## 14. Security\n\nAll network traffic is encrypted. The app refuses unencrypted connections. The device credential from organisation pairing is encrypted on the headset as described in section 5, and the app's data is excluded from device backups. No system can guarantee absolute security.\n\n## 15. Changes\n\nThe version number and effective date identify this notice. If we change what the app collects or how it is used, we will publish a new version here.\n\n## 16.
